1970s
The group was founded on a vision to meet Egypt’s growing demand for quality frozen beef, laying the groundwork for our future as a key player in the food import sector.
2003
Our first step into agriculture was marked by the strategic acquisition of El Nasser Farm 1, a foundational move that would pave the way for our extensive farming operations.
2009
We established the Port Said Star Factory, a state-of-the-art facility for the production and processing of smoked fish, marking our entry into the food processing industry. This move not only diversified our portfolio but also positioned us as a leader in value-added food production.
2014-2015
Operations began in the egg farming industry, further diversifying our agricultural portfolio.
2016
The group expanded its agricultural footprint with the acquisition of El Nasser Farm 4, also known as Salma Farm.
2017
The Obour cold storage facility became operational, significantly increasing our storage and distribution capacity and enhancing our supply chain capabilities.
2020
We acquired Amber, a leading Egyptian food manufacturer and distributor, solidifying our position in the market.
